Pedro Rump - CEO
Pedro is a 30-year IP telephony and wireless networking veteran who is applying his deep experience in scaling engineering organizations from start-up to maturity at Range Networks, where he leads development and delivery of our core product lines. He previously served as VP of engineering at four early-stage cellular equipment and IP telephony companies, most recently as senior vice president of engineering and operations at ShoreTel, where his eight-year tenure spanned the company’s IPO. He began his career at ROLM Corporation. Pedro has an BSEE and MSEE from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
harvind samra - cto and co-founder
Harvind is responsible for OpenBTS’ architecture and the technologies behind Range’s solutions. He co-founded the OpenBTS project and has an extensive background in signal processing and radio modem design. He was previously a partner at Kestrel Signal Processing and a senior engineer at Rosum and Rockwell Collins. Harvind holds MS (Georgia Institute of Technology) and PhD (UC Davis) degrees in Electrical Engineering.
Bob Fultz - CFO and VP of Products
Bob leads product management and guides product strategy as Range Networks evolves and expands its product portfolio. He is a former VP of engineering at Aeris Communications and served as VP of strategic partnerships at GoBeam from its start through acquisition by Covad Communications. Bob has spent over 20 years in strategic engineering and market-facing roles in telecommunications, with expertise in managing the product roadmap and releasing products in fast-paced growth-oriented companies establishing new markets. He earned dual BS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Harvard University.
Christian Ciupek - VP of Sales
Christian is a successful senior executive and entrepreneur in the IT and Telecommunications industry with more than 20 years’ experience in international business execution for both established global organizations as well as start-up ventures. He has a proven track record of exceeding divisional and company sales and profitability targets and increasing shareholder value through a combination of sales strategy, product positioning, and organizational restructuring.
In 2016, Christian founded SO performing !, a sales outsourcing company that provides B2B sales and marketing services for high tech companies that wish to develop business in Europe, Middle-East and Africa quickly and efficiently through a network of local experienced sales representatives. Range Networks became a customer of SO performing ! and after several months of good cooperation between the two companies, Range Networks appointed Christian as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Prior to starting SO performing !, Christian worked for various high tech companies such as Accenture, Texas Instruments and CSG/Intec Telecom Systems. In 1997, He joined Intec Telecom Systems when it was a start-up and contributed, through growing significantly the business in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, to raise the company to a 250M USD organization just before it was sold to CSG International.
Christian earned his MS degree in Telecommunications and Computer Science from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Bretagne.
